This conference aims to provide a forum for dissemination and discussion of the latest scientific research, clinical treatments, and critical issues facing the orthopaedic community. We hope that you find the presentations engaging and informative, and that the discussions foster new ideas and collaborations among the participants.

About Us
Prayagraj Orthopedic Association (POA) earlier known as Allahabad Orthopaedic Society was established with a mission to provide a forum for academic orthopaedic surgeons to exchange ideas, initiate and promote research, and advance the education and training of orthopaedic surgeons.
The members of the POA are a distinguished group of orthopaedic surgeons who have achieved academic excellence in their field. The POA represents both full-time and part-time faculty members, as well as researchers and residents from academic institutions across the city of Prayagraj. We are a community of professionals who are dedicated to improving the lives of our patients and pushing the boundaries of science and medicine.
The POA promotes and supports research initiatives through various grant programmes academic activities and various national and state conferences. The association also provides educational programmes, including the PLATESCON a national conference on plate osteosynthesis which is a major forum for exchanging ideas and sharing information among orthopaedic surgeons. Annually we also confer two prestigious orations in the memory of (late) Prof. R.C. Gupta and (late) Prof. S. C. Gaur.

Together, we can achieve great things and make a real difference in the lives of our patients. We have already organised and hosted UPORTHOCON 2010 And UPORTHOCON 2018 successfully in the past.
This year we are going to organise 48th annual conference of UP Orthopaedic Association named UPORTHOCON 2024 from 2nd to 4th February 2024 at Allahabad Medical Association Convention Centre, Prayagraj in which faculties pan across India and abroad shall share their wisdom with more than 1000 delegates of Uttar Pradesh which in turn help in transfer the benefit to their respective patients.
